Ride was fine. Brakes just needed to be replaced. Made a scrapping noise. Owner was made aware. Other than that ride was fine car was nice and clean

The car was in good condition cosmetically, both inside and out. Unfortunately, the driving experience was a completely different story. The brakes were grinding, which made us feel that the vehicle was unsafe to drive.
We contacted the owner and informed him about the brake issue, and his response was that he would check it out when he got back. While I appreciate that he planned to look into it, that did not help us at the time because we were actively renting and relying on the vehicle that day.
Because we did not feel comfortable continuing to drive the car, we ended up spending additional money on Ubers. We also did not have the time during our trip to go through the process of returning the vehicle and finding another rental.
The vehicle looked nice and was clean, but safety and reliability are extremely important when renting a car. A grinding brake issue should have been addressed before the vehicle was rented out. Unfortunately, this caused us additional expenses and inconvenience during our trip.

The vehicle breaks had no issue prior to pickup as I explained and if the guest felt so uncomfortable why not return the vehicle if you were concerned about your safety?
Horrible!!! Car did not start and then it was an issue changing the car.

Unfortunately, a previous guest left car in run position draining the battery, I arrived to swap vehicle however, Turo Support couldn’t bc guest requested refund and didn’t want to pay to start a new trip. Unfortunately chain of events but guest was a nice person just the vehicle experienced an issue that couldn’t be resolved in the moment.
