Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this rental. The vehicle jerked multiple times while I was driving, which made me uncomfortable continuing to drive it. I notified the host immediately and was told he could check the vehicle “remotely.” He later told me no issue was found and that no engine lights were on, but never provided proof of an actual diagnostic check. After speaking with Turo, I asked the host for a comparable vehicle swap. He initially responded “No,” then about 20 minutes later told me he had another vehicle at the airport available to swap. However, he never followed through or got back to me about completing the swap. The vehicle was also represented as having a full tank, but it was not full when I received it, which I documented with a photo. Communication is one thing, but when a renter reports a mechanical concern, there needs to be actual follow-through and a resolution. I would not rent this vehicle again.
