I want to say FIRST, I didn’t appreciate the condition of the inside of the car. It felt like I borrowed a friend’s car for the weekend instead of renting one. The smudges, dirt, filth, and dust were everywhere. Yes, there’s a basic car wash pass, cool, and I even considered buying products to clean it myself, but that would’ve been overplaying my role. Out of all the years renting through Turo, and I must say unfortunately, it was my first disaster.
LUCKILY the backseat wasn’t needed because it was filthy too. Even the rear cup holder was dirty, and that’s no exaggeration. I didn’t want any of those contents to touch me or anything I would have put in it. You guys have to give this car a bath inside and out. I get that the car is almost 10 years old, but it doesn’t have to look like it on the inside. Light-colored cloth interior requires maintenance, and if this is an additional stream of income, it should be invested in.
With it being an older car, I couldn’t tell the tire PSI. So when the low tire indicator came on the dash, of course it became a concern as a renter. I added air, noticed three of the tire valve stems had no caps, and as a courtesy I bought some for my own peace of mind. Needless to say, the tire pressures weren’t even balanced. These should be around 33–36 PSI, but the driver-side rear was at 44 while the others were 31, 34, and 38. That doesn’t exactly inspire confidence that even the bare minimum maintenance is being monitored.
Upon drop-off, a low oil alert appeared. Like how? 😒 I didn’t even come close to the 600 miles I was allotted. 🤦🏽♂️
OF COURSE, before drop-off and before the low oil alert, I communicated these issues to the co-host. His response? “It’s an older car. Unfortunately renters don’t keep up with the upkeep.” I guess that was supposed to explain the filth too. Then he followed up with, “If you’re not happy, you can return the vehicle and get a refund.” 🤯 As if that money magically returns to my bank account the same day. 😂 So your solution is to create an inconvenience for me?
There was no offer to swap the vehicle. No attempt to make things right. Not even, “Here’s a discount code toward another Turo rental.” I even asked if a code was available just to point him toward what customer service would look like, and the co-host told me to modify the trip through the app because there was no code. I didn’t book the full time of my stay in Ohio, so I book another day. Guess what, YEP, I paid full price for an additional day. 😂
So yes, 2 stars—for the interaction and the complete lack of problem-solving.
And I want to be clear for anyone considering this Honda: the lone photo on the listing is not an accurate representation of what you’re getting. The window visors are NOT on the vehicle, and the windows look tinted in the picture. Maybe it’s the lighting of where the photo was taken, but there’s no tint at all—fishbowl.
One last thing: driving north on I-75 leaving Cincinnati in the rain, I experienced poor traction while driving 45-50mph. Which left me with little confidence in the condition of the tires. Be careful if you choose this vehicle after reading this review. Other than that, it was GREAT on gas and GREAT on air conditioning.

Car smelled like smoke but drove great

I needed a vehicle last minute because my rental from the airport was all sorts of messed up. This was very convenient as they delivered to my Airbnb and were very accommodating to park inside of my Airbnb. Car was clean, had a full tank, and I’m bias cause I know a Honda accord, but I love this car. I really appreciated how easy the process was.

For my first time renting a vehicle on this app I highly recommend it. The process was easy, the car was clean, and everything went smoothly from pickup to drop off. I’ll definitely use it again in the future.

Super easy and very responsive. Way better than ubering around.
