I reserved my Turo for the black charger 3 months in advance, was notified the day before my trip that the black charger was unavailable and that the gray charger would be my replacement, I was told it was the exact same just different colors, ok. I get the gray charger the day of my trip and there is no gas in the car, the car hadn’t been to the car wash, smelled like cigarettes, the hood is damaged to where it sits slightly open, the front headlight was out on the vehicle. I paid too much money for a specific car so I was very disappointed to get the rental I did as well as the customer service. I came back up to Elite Auto Exchange to express my concerns and to my surprise an employee pulls up in the black charger that I originally ordered saying he’s been driving it for 3 weeks so they knew well before the day before my trip that the car wouldn’t be available and was told the employee is using the car to make runs for the owner. As well as I was told this company no longer puts gas in the car before customers pick the car up because other customers never bring it back with gas in it. I’ve never heard of any rental company not putting gas in the vehicle before releasing it. I’ve also booked with Turo several times so I know it’s not Turo’s fault , it’s this company. The company blamed everything on Turo saying the charger shouldn’t have been listed because it was in an accident 6 months ago. It looks just fine to me and the employee can agree being that he’s still using it and riding around in it perfectly fine. I was then told I couldn’t get the black charger because it wasn’t going to be available at 10am when I originally picked up the car, I offered to wait for detailing and get the black charger was given the runaround about it once again saying it would take a while to detail the car. I finally spoke with the manager, he did personally apologize but the resolution was I could either keep the Turo I had(gray charger) or just leave the car altogether and cancel my trip. Which wasn’t an option for me, I booked this for my birthday so I had things to do. I will not be booking a Turo through this company again.

The last person did not clean out vehicle when I received it. Food particles on arm rest, steering wheel, and cup holder.
