Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my Turo rental experience at all. The interior of the vehicle was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. However, the exterior had several scratches and dents that took away from the overall quality of the car.
My biggest concern was the way the vehicle drove. It felt like the car was dragging while driving, and there were times when I pressed the brakes and the vehicle did not seem to want to stop properly. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe while driving.
Another frustrating issue was the gas mileage. When I started my trip, the vehicle showed approximately 399 miles of range. After I filled the gas tank, it showed 570 miles of range. This made me feel like I had paid for more gas than I should have been responsible for, which was very upsetting.
To make matters worse, the check engine light came on during my trip. Between the mechanical concerns, braking issues, exterior damage, and frustration over the gas, this rental was nowhere near the experience I expected.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with this Turo rental. I paid for a reliable, safe, and enjoyable vehicle, and unfortunately, that is not what I received. I would like Turo to review these concerns and consider appropriate compensation for this unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone until the mechanical and safety issues have been properly addressed.
