Great experience overall. The host was communicative, professional, and easy to work with. The vehicle drove well, and the pickup/drop-off process was straightforward. I appreciate their customer service and would gladly book with them again.

Easy to work with

First, the host never verified my DL the day before, which is required in order for the car to be released. Because of that, when I arrived early for pickup, I was not able to check in or access the car.
I waited past my pickup time with no response from the host. It took the people at the lot texting and calling him before he finally responded, and that was already about 15 minutes after pickup. He told them he would send me the code to access the car, but he still did not send it.
I then had to call customer service three times. On the last attempt, I found a number for him myself and texted him letting him know I was ready to file a complaint and request my money back. At that point, it had already been about 30 minutes before he finally sent the code.
Once I got into the car, it was dirty inside and out. I already noticed the outside was dirty, but the inside was also unacceptable.
Then while driving, the tire warning light came on. Thankfully, by the grace of God, I had my own tire pump with me because my son dropped me off and I had it in the car. I had to pump the tire myself. Not long after that, I also got maintenance alerts for the tires and an oil change.
The host kept going back and forth with me and said he would compensate me at the end, but he still has not done that. Offering me $20 and a discount for a future rental was honestly insulting after everything I dealt with.
I would not rent from this host again. Go at your own risk, because this was not a good experience at all. If I could leave lower than 1 star, I would.
