Super fast communication and helped me with every question I needed 10/10 Car is great

I usually just give 5 and move along but today I’m only giving this a 1 because initially the communication between myself and the owner was consistent . I picked up the vehicle the same day that I had to leave the state for a business trip. I checked the vehicle per usual , notified the owner about some rattling at the bottom and they stated everything was good . As I’m moving along I soon realized the registration has been expired for 2 months. I notify the owner whom doesn’t reply at all for the next few days. I notify turo , whose only options were to have me stranded in another state and assuming that restricting the owners car would help me out in anyway, because the owner violated their policy. As stated by them. The check engine light came on as soon as I made it to my destination. A mess. I’ve rented many cars from turo but this by far was not the best experience. Turo allowed for the vehicle to be advertised on their site illegally since the registration was not up to date and had no solutions for the renter although the car was reserved weeks in advance and the owner new that their registration was out before the car was reserved as well as violating turo policy.

Car was okay but got very nervous when the check emissions system light came on. I rented this car for a week and would have extended for another week but because of the light coming on I was not going to chance it and rented with someone else. I didn’t pay a lot of money to be driving a car with a check engine light on. But it did its job and I’m thankful for that.
