For starters, before the trip even began, I received a message from Ashley stating that there was a warning on her vehicle that something was wrong. She then informed me that one of the motor mounts was broken. At this point, we are on our way to Dallas and not much I can do to change our reservation or get another vehicle. When we arrived to Dallas Love Field Airport the vehicle was not there. Ashley was 30 minutes late to drop off the vehicle. The car was in good condition, other than every time you would accelerate, there would be a loud banging noise. I assume from the motor mount. There were also quite a few glitches with the screen. The air conditioner was running fine and in the middle of driving, it decided to turn the heater on and we had to pull over to assess what was going on. Once we restarted the car, everything seemed to be fine.

Apologies for your dissatisfaction with the reservation. Thank you for mentioning the other issues. Turo used to ensure guests fixed our car when there were problems, but their policy now favors guests, making hosts responsible for guest-caused repairs. I don’t usually drive the car as it’s always booked. I informed you in real-time to help you make other arrangements. I mentioned the 1 engine mount was warned, not broken.
