The car quite honestly should not have been rented. I have never rented a car in this bad of shape and was scared it would break down the entire time. The mileage wasn’t great for suck a tiny car probably just due to it being in bad shape and not taken care of. The check engine light was on for the entire trip, which was never communicated to us why, but he later said it was due to a sensor days after I messaged him asking why it was on. The front tire started leaking air on our last day and no matter how many times we filled it up it kept leaking so we had to return the car a day early because we didn’t want to have a flat tire on our way to the airport. The car was left in short term parking which added 31$ to our cost. I am giving three stars which I feel is extremely generous because the host refunded us separately for the daily rate which we really appreciated after the issue with the tire. He was very responsive and helpful once we let him know we had an issue and needed to return the car early.
If the vehicle gets a major tune up and maybe some new spark plugs and tires it would be a decent rental

Overall, I had a good experience renting from Gian. Pick up was clear and easy at the airport. The car is definitely older and makes some noises when running, but comfortable and I had no issues. I would recommend making sure there is a car charger and suggest a cover for the cargo area. As someone who is traveling with luggage and valuables, this made it difficult to make stops without being concerned about break ins. Thanks Gian.
