Even though I had to wait 5 hours for a tow truck because the vehicle was non functional due to a transmission issue. Would rent from host again

This car looks better in the photos than in reality, but I didn’t need a pretty car, I just needed a car to get me from point A to B, and that’s why I gave a negative review. The car had alerts popping all throughout this trip. I think it must’ve been due for service before renting it out, and I do not feel like it is my responsibility as the renter to check these things on the car. First was “Low Washer Fluid” alert, then something about the “hill roll assist” not working which I felt when I drove anywhere with slight elevation the car would roll back and I’d have to keep my foot heavy on the brake, and quickly shift to drive to avoid hitting the car behind me when stuck in traffic, very nerve wrecking, but the most alarming part was when the “Transmission overheating pull over stop now” alert popped up! I was driving from west side to east side in peak highway traffic, and pulling over was near impossible to do. Thankfully after I pulled over and turned the car off and back on it didn’t notify me of this again it was also sunset so maybe without the heat of outside helped. I still kept AC off and windows down just in case. It happened again on my way to return the car, the next day, I was stuck in traffic right before sunset on the highway, and I was happy to return the car as it was stressing me out.
