The car was dented and the usb port to connect to CarPlay only worked sporadically.
But the real issue was the tone and behavior of my host. First, he had me drop the car at the airport curb instead of the parking lot, meaning my check out was scattered and stressful. Then upon his discovering my sister’s dog had scratched the side of the door (something I hadn’t noticed in my haste and immediately agreed to cover the cost of) he got very aggressive. He seemed to blame me for some other issues he’d had with renters, and attacked me about the lack of cleanliness of the car without acknowledging how the change in the drop off location might have contributed. He then tried to charge me over $1000 for the repair (which ended up being $400), claiming he’d asked for two quotes but then was unable to provide the second one.
These cars are cheap but between the nastiness of the host and expense of having to pay for an appraisal, it’s absolutely not worth renting from these guys.

All my previous reviews speak for themselves. I treat every guest as a 5star guest. This guest omits key facts; he was contemptuous and abused the car. I accommodated him by meeting at the airport curb for his convenience, he avoided meeting by dropping off 45min earlier. Returning the car absolutely filthy with spilled marijuana and new damages. The repair estimate submitted was from a professional repair facility that reflects an accurate amount of damage. I will never rent to this guest again

The spark ran great and the pick up and drop off process was very easy for a first time Turo user like myself! I needed to use the vehicle because my primary vehicle was in the mechanic shop which means that sometimes there's delays and Josh made it really easy for my rental duration to be changed and adjusted to fit the delays that I was experiencing with my mechanic. 5 Stars! Will use again!
