I hate writing any reviews under 5 stars but honestly after this trip I doubt I’ll be using Turo again.
I booked this for a work retreat where I needed a car. I tried confirming the details several times the night before to make sure everything was ready to go because it was going to be an early morning with work plans. I booked it for 6:00am, received a message at 5:30 that it was dropped off to the location i requested (and tried to confirm prior), walked around for 20 minutes looking for it as I live in an apartment complex, tried to get ahold of the owner to see where it was, didn’t get an answer for a while, then finally heard back that they were running late. It was dropped off at 6:30 (half hour late) and still they didn’t send details about where it was. I finally got those details after asking several times.
The key fob doesn’t work properly, it wasn’t very clean (trash under the mats), and I couldn’t get some of the features to work that it had advertised (Apple CarPlay).
It got me where I needed to go but I was disappointed in the lack of communication, delay getting it dropped off, and improperly advertising features.
I also felt uncomfortable with the dash cam as a young woman and would like for that to have been an optional add on rather than default. And I didn’t feel comfortable unplugging it on my own.
