Great little road runner. Comfortable and clean. Host communicated extremely well, offering up the tip on the airport shuttle, which we didn’t know about from previous trips to Dayton. The color was fun too! Always easy to spot!

ATTENTION TO ANYONE RENTING FROM TURO. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HOST. Upon picking this vehicle up from CVG airport, I notified the Host that his car was filthy inside and out. The rims were literally all tore up. They were cigarette or marijuana burns in the seat. I’m assuming it was marijuana because the car had a very excessive strong smell of marijuana. The windows did not work correctly. They were filthy. The car itself was filthy. I actually had to take the vehicle to a car wash on my own dime and wash it outside and inside clean the windows put an air freshener in there because the Host wouldn’t even take time to do that himself. It also didn’t even have a full tank of gas in it. Also driving at home from the airport I noticed that there was a warped feel coming from the rim or the tire that was very concerning. And when I notified him of these inadequacies, he has suggested that I take it to go get it looked at which that is not how Service works. Midway through my trip the battery died, which I got the car jumpstarted and took it to a nearby AutoZone to have the test the battery, battery was bad obviously. He then called AutoZone and proceeded to lie to me, saying that they wouldn’t give him a quote over the phone nor would they let him pay. Which I talked to AutoZone staff and they said they gave him a quote and they were going to allow him to pay over the phone. He told me through text conversation that they wouldn’t give him a quote or let him pay and suggested that I paid for the battery and he pay me back later. Which is another no go for me. That’s not how Service works. At that point I had suggested that we changed this car out for another car of which he basically denied and said that he didn’t have a car available till the following week which is the week that I was leaving anyways, so at that point, I saw no point in it. Then the day before I was supposed to turn the vehicle in, I walked out to a flat tire in front of the residence that I was staying. I immediately contacted him to let him know, and he immediately started blaming me. After numerous text conversations and arguments back-and-forth, I agreed to pay the warranty price for his tire and have the car towed to a shop of his choice on my dime which was through AAA. He immediately declined because he knew Turo was going to charge me $199 roadside assistance fee which I’m disputing now. Any Host would let you know that hey if you have a tow service you can use you should use it because Turo is going to charge you $199 fee. He didn’t do that. He deliberately declined my tow service and went through Turo because he knew they were gonna charge me. This is subpar service and very childlike behavior. The Host then proceeded to tow the vehicle to a shop of people he knows or family that he has and immediately sent me pictures of the Tire saying that the car was in operable and wasn’t drivable. Meanwhile, a couple hours later, he contacted me with a gas invoice to try to get me to pay for gas when the car was supposedly not supposed to be drivable? The car was taken a day earlier than scheduled so I wasn’t able to get gas, but he immediately took it to get gas and then send me the invoice. Which that’s actually a dispute now because Turo took the invoice off of my account, but then an hour later still charge my credit card for it which that will be taken off as well. Not to mention in the beginning the drop off location was discussed over a phone call which he said was more convenient for him to drop off at CVG at no charge. Then when I looked on my Bill, there was a delivery charge for $110 which that also is being disputed. There are text messages, conversations and proof of that as well. Then this Host also proceeded to tell me that I was mistreating his car driving at high speeds and was trying to make up other things that was wrong with this car, obviously a scare tactic that didn’t work. Overall, this car was a subpar vehicle that was poorly maintenance and then when the car finally breaks down, he wants to blame the driver and use petty tactics and try to nickel and dime the driver to pay for his poorly maintenance vehicle. SO FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT’S READING THIS I SUGGEST THAT YOU DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HOST. YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT ISSUES AS HE’LL TRY TO BLAME YOU FOR DAMAGING HIS VEHICLE. I literally as soon as I got in the car I should’ve left it there and requested a refund. Lesson learned. The only reason why I kept the car is because it was already paid in full and I didn’t wanna have to go through the hassle at that point in time to try to get another one. I would even go as far as requesting that anybody that reads this to not rent from Turo. I’ve done it two times now and the second time was complete nightmare dealing with a childish inappropriate Host. All of these things are in dispute and it’s just a hassle. The only reason I gave him a one star is because I couldn’t give him zero.

The car was a pleasure to drive. It was in excellent condition. The host was very friendly and accommodating of all my requests. The car was delivered and picked up from my home, really appreciate that. Would recommend to rent a car from him to anyone for a business trip or leisure.
