This was an entirely new experience for me. I was very nervous and it doesn’t help being old. It all turned out well and Derrick kept helping me with any questions. Car was perfect and great with has. I was happy to drive a Toyota because that’s what I am use to at home and you can’t rent from the usual car rentals. It was a great experience

First off, I want to say that my host was excellent. I want to personally give him five stars! He was responsive, extremely helpful and went above and beyond I think.
The car did have an issue after three days or so. One evening it wouldn’t start. It was saying there was a secondary break malfunction. Because of this reason, the car would shut off. We looked it up online and did what it said to do to solve this problem…. We waited about 30 minutes and the car was able to start and move forward from there.
After that point, I didn’t have any more issues. I was reluctant about leaving this review because of how great my host was but I feel it is only fair to let other renters know this could potentially happen to you.
However- I believe my host when said he’s going to take the vehicle in and get it inspected- it is under warranty with the dealership so I believe he will be taking care of this immediately.
Overall, I want to thank you for a good experience and for being so prompt to answer my messages and troubleshoot with me. You are a wonderful host. God bless you!

Vehicle operated normally afterwards. Had it checked-everything was ok.It also completed subsequent trips without any similar concerns being reported.I understand every driver may have different levels of experience with different vehicles.
