Thank you for your feedback. The A/C itself was functioning properly; however, the blower motor resistor on these Ford Fiestas tend to fail unexpectedly, causing certain fan-speed settings to stop working while others continue normally. Unfortunately, there was no indication of the issue before the trip. The blower resistor has since been replaced, and all fan-speed settings are now operating properly.
Great little car. I didn’t give the host a lot of notice for the rental and he was courteous and on time. Thank you! It served me well. :)
