Overall the car served its purpose. Lots of instructions but easy to find if you follow them. The host was communicative when needed which was appreciated.
Reason for 3 stars:
- Phone charging piece didn’t work in the car
- Connecting my phone to Bluetooth for music didn’t work
- Couldn’t extend w/o a ridiculous fee which ultimately caused me to have to rush back to the airport so I wouldn’t be charged.
Usually, if I need to extend thru Turo it’s easy to do so (for no additional cost, up to a certain time). Not in this case. For an additional hr it was $60 which surprised me. When I asked the host, there was nothing they could do re: cost. Since it’s their car I would think they have control over that (as other hosts have waived/adjusted fees in my experience). I realized it’s most likely due to the airport location itself.
Lesson learned tho, I probably won’t rent from an airport location again
