Turo and the host are customer service people.

This was my first Turo rental. I wanted a competitive option to a rental car place. The Turo app to make a selection with pictures and car info was very informative. I felt safe picking the car up from the parking spot over meeting at someone's house or a random gas station. Instructions for picking up the car were clear and thorough.
Turo good. Host...let's just say I will not do business with him again. He messaged me the week of my rental to inform me that the SUV I reserved had been in a wreck. He was kind enough to offer a replacement which I accepted for fear that I would not get the same deal with another host the week of my trip. The picture of the white Corolla looked good. In person, I found the car looked like it had been in a minor accident itself. There were large scratches on the hood and a large scrape over the back driver-side tire. The host didn't mention this. However, the Turo app made me take like 20 pictures of the inside and outside of the car before I drove off. So, I made sure every dent and scratch was documented.
The worst part - I found that the car needed a vacuum. Not a big deal. I understand this was a last minute switch. The cup holder in the back seat had visible gunk from a previous user. Since the cleanliness was not to my standard, I spent $25 on a Top Wash to get the car cleaned inside and out. I vacuumed the car out, washed the floor mats, sanitized the interior, and cleaned the cup holder in the back seat. I messaged Donald to see if he would be kind enough to take $25 off the total trip (since I cleaned his car) and he chimed back that he had already cleaned the car "good". I was shocked at the response since I was the one I conveniences by renting a car that was not my initial preference. Donald's response made me feel like he only wanted my money and wasn't concerned about providing excellent customer service.
Even though the customer service could be improved, I did not have any problems with the car and the safety features with the auto deceleration which was stellar.

2 things could have happened either he forgot to clean the inside because I personally pulled up while he was cleaning the outside we have literally a cleaning station at the location where the vehicles are kept or ths person is not telling the truth
I really not sure what happened here to be honest
I just would say my apologies for any inconvenience this is not what we do our vehicles are cleaned sanitized maintenance
