Unfortunately, my experience renting this Nissan Versa was very disappointing.
First, the car was delivered 50 minutes late. Upon arrival, I noticed that the windshield had a large crack running all the way across it, along with several minor damages to the vehicle. All of these issues were reported to the host.
Additionally, the driver’s side tire had an air leak, and the doors did not all lock automatically. Every time I left the vehicle, I had to double-check and manually lock the doors. Apple CarPlay was also unavailable.
I do want to emphasize that the host was a genuinely nice person. He was friendly, polite, approachable, and willing to help as much as he could. I truly appreciated his attitude and the way he communicated with me. He seemed like a really good guy, and I have nothing negative to say about him personally.
To be honest, the condition of the vehicle made me want to give this rental zero stars. However, I don’t feel that would be fair to the host, who was genuinely kind and did his best to assist.
My disappointment is entirely with the condition of the vehicle, not with the host as a person. The Nissan Versa urgently needs maintenance and repairs, especially considering the safety concerns with the windshield and tire.
Overall, a disappointing rental experience with a genuinely nice host who deserves credit for his attitude and willingness to help.
