For future guests: The "tape" mentioned was a tamper-evident seal on the splash shield to detect unauthorized access, not a repair. No issues were reported during the trip. The car was returned 4 days early without refueling. As a precaution Turo unlisted it for a full inspection by a certified mechanic, confirming good condition. The seal has been removed per Turo's request.
We absolutely loved the car it rides smoothly, very clean, location was safe, overall great experience and perfect for the trip!
