Avoid this host. Shakyra falsely accused me of 'crashing' the vehicle and threatened to have me banned unless I paid her directly outside of Turo. When I refused, she charged me a $150 cleaning fee for standard desert dust on the tires—a blatant violation of Turo policy. I had to file a formal dispute with Turo to get my money back. This host uses intimidation and fraudulent charges to squeeze extra money from guests.

Highly recommend! (Especially if flying in to Palm Springs airport) Communication was great and handled ahead of time. Pick up was super easy and close to the airport, traffic out was a breeze.
Super clean and drives well

This car was listed for pick up at PSP airport but ended up being a 20 minute walk away on a dark side street, which we had to navigate in the middle of the night with our luggage. The Google map location for the vehicle was wrong, so we ended up going in the opposite direction before having to turn around. The location in be photo shared AFTER we booked was correct. When we finally found what we thought must be the car, the license plate was wrong and we weren’t sure if it was the right car. Based on other reviews this is apparently a known Turo issue and the owner should have said something about it. Engine light came on two days into the trip with a malfunction warning, and the passenger side door had some kind of hinge issue. Finally, right before the end of the trip the owner sent a message asking us to wash and vacuum the car (the car did not appear washed and vacuumed when we picked it up). We didn’t have time to do it so wiped it down as best we could. The requested return location was not as shown on Turo, so we parked in an accepted Turo location which was the PSP parking lot. Overall, the car was functional but the rest of this experience was not smooth.
