Check engine light
Coolant signal on
I have three of these 2016 Mazda 3s. The light the goes on when the vehicle is first started, is a blue thermostat showing the vehicle is cold. It goes away within a couple of minutes indicating the ideal time to start driving for best fuel efficiency. This is not a check engine light. In an abundance of caution and taking the guest’s comment very seriously, my mechanic did a diagnostic and confirmed that there was no issue.
No smoking allowed
