This was a very frustrating experience, especially as Turo hosts that run 8 vehicles ourselves — we understand exactly how this process is supposed to work and what standards guests should expect.
From the start, it felt like key issues with the vehicle were not disclosed ahead of time. Once we picked up the car, it was clear there were multiple problems that should have been addressed before the trip even began.
The AC did not work for the majority of the trip, the sunroof was broken (one of the main reasons we rented it), and the blinker was not functioning properly, which is a clear safety concern. The tire pressure light was also on, and the stereo screen had a glitch that covered up most of the screen.
Additionally, the car was provided with only a quarter tank of gas, which creates an unnecessary inconvenience right away.
We also were communicated about these issues outside of the app, which reduces transparency and accountability on both sides.
As hosts, we know how important it is to present a clean, safe, and fully functional vehicle while being upfront about any issues. Unfortunately, this experience felt like problems were being hidden until after pickup, and it fell well below the standard that should be expected on Turo.

The instructions were all communicated prior to pickup. As a current host you should understand how airport delivery works. The AC has always worked perfectly and still currently is. If you were not happy with the vehicle then Why wait until the end of the trip to express concerns about it when we could have offered a vehicle swap or another hosts vehicle? The mini was also returned extremely dirty inside and out. Please do not rent from us again!

at airport was great. The car was all we needed for our time in Punta Gorda. Bobby was accommodating and available. Drop off at airport was easy and so helpful. Good value. Second Turo car at PGA.
