Car ran great, the host was on time and punctual and communicated great. Even dropped us at the airport so we didn’t have to figure out the confusing parking at the airport.

Overall, our experience was okay and the vehicle itself worked fine for what we needed. However, there were a few things that impacted our comfort level.
When we picked up the car, a maintenance light was already on. The owner explained it was related to a recent accident and had been inspected, but it would have been helpful to know that in advance. Later in the week, a tire pressure light also came on (possibly due to cold weather). While the owner was responsive, the combination of warning lights made us hesitant to drive long distances.
The airport handoff process also had a few uncomfortable moments. Prior to the trip, the owner asked if we could drive him about five minutes back to his own car after pickup. We declined, and alternative arrangements were made. For drop-off, we were asked to meet at a nearby Starbucks and then be driven to the airport instead of parking in hourly parking. We followed this plan due to concerns about parking availability, but opted to have a family member take us the rest of the way rather than ride with someone we didn’t know.
That said, everything ultimately worked out. I’ve typically experienced more contactless pickups and drop-offs with Turo (like a lockbox or keys left in the car), which feels more comfortable—especially traveling as a female with my mother. In the future, I’ll be sure to review the pickup and drop-off details more closely before booking.

Tire pressure fluctuates during extreme cold weather . Not a big issue if you know about cars and Michigan weather.

Last pass reviews had stated a mechanical maintenance code did come on the car – although this was well a warned and discussed prior to me accepting the vehicle.
I did feel that the tires needed a balancing – notified owner of car upon return.
Car was immaculate. Great gas mileage. And definitely got me where I needed to go safely.
There was some slight miscommunication regarding pick up spot – did not help that the garage at the Detroit airport is currently undergoing construction, which made the pick up spot slightly hard to get to.
Overall, a great experience
