My biggest issue with this Turo car rental was that I paid extra to have the car delivered to DCA airport, NOT to a remote location. Normally, Turo owners hand me the key job outside the concourse or park it in the North Terminal Garage at DCA. Waiting for the shuttle bus to the Economy Lot (several miles away) and the ride cost me at least 30 minutes of my time.
Bridget refunded only $7.00 of this to me which I feel was unfair since I didn’t know until about noon that I had to take a shuttle bus away from DCA in order to find and get to the car by 1pm. Also, the car was not seven spaces from the front of the parking aisle as claimed, but from where the signpost was. This search cost me even more time and stress.
Maintenance issues with the car are as follows:
- Ignition key is always difficult to remove. Bridget’s husband argued with me about this fact. It took several seconds to jiggle the key and remove it each time. Very annoying!
- Back-up camera monitor on dash kept going out.
- AC vents have weak airflow. I see another driver complained about this. I had to keep the AC on constantly and the loud blower on high which means the car consumed more fuel.

Hi Michael, Thanks for the feedback. I chose the Economy Lot for DCA drop-off (one of a few Turo options) since it's the lowest-cost choice for guests. The $7 was Turo's auto-adjusted parking fee based on your pickup time, not a discretionary refund. The key needs the fob button pressed to release — not a defect. Camera and AC are being checked at the dealership this week. Sorry it felt stressful, Thanks for Renting with us.
