Chris’s MINI was the perfect car to get around San Francisco. It was great when it came to finding street parking because it could fit in smaller, more compact spots. It struggled a bit on hills, but that’s probably a lot of cars in San Francisco.
Chris was very easy to communicate with, and quick to reply to any questions or concerns.

Worst Turo I’ve had. At pickup gas tank was half full and an engine light was on. Looked at the manual for icon and it was starred. Seemed okay to drive and since I had wedding events to get to I didn’t have time to try and get a different car. Next I was driving around Berkeley in the hills and a different engine light comes on. Looked at the manual sure enough it was started as well and it telling me to go slower engine can’t handle the hills. It was obvious because it had no pickup on hills. Now it’s 6 days later and the temp indicator lights up and I’m driving to the airport next day. I contact the host. Am told to check the coolant tank. Luckily I had a mini cooper in the past and knew the engine. There was no coolant in the tank. So at 9pm I’m walking to a gas station to get coolant and then praying it doesn’t break down on my way to the airport. The host said I could call Turo roadside assistance but at that hour up in the wine country it could take hours to deal with so I took a chance and made it to the airport but it was stressful. I don’t recommend this car and honestly although the host was responsive his lack of concern for the engine lights makes me hesitant to recommend him as a host. Disappointed is being kind.

The Mini was a great car and a great price! It was exactly where the host said it would be and the directions were clear! We would ABSOLUTELY use this car again on a future trip!

The car was very clean. It smelt very nice . You can tell no one has smoked inside of it. The A/C blows very cool air. The car rides smoothly and does very well in cruise control mode. It also gets great gas mileage. The owner Chris is very helpful. If there is any issue he responds to you promptly. I would definitely rent with him again. Thanks Chris and thanks Turo :)
