Really enjoyed the whole experience with this car. The check in was super easy, the location was easy enough to find, and the host was very responsive throughout. But honestly, the car itself is what made this rental special.
I have always loved driving manual, but I did not realize how badly I wanted a Corvette until I actually drove one. A 6.2L naturally aspirated V8, manual transmission, and convertible is pretty hard to beat. The car feels very well engineered and is surprisingly quiet at low RPM, but once you get past around 4,000 RPM and the exhaust opens up, it really starts to sing. It is especially fun in tunnels and under bridges. The clutch is also quite easy to live with, although it engages very quickly if you dump it.
The low seating position, limited visibility, and ground clearance take a little getting used to, but those are minor compromises for a car like this. The removable roof, CarPlay, and rev matching are also great. Overall, I had an amazing time and would absolutely rent this car again!!
