This was one of the most frustrating rental experiences I've had. The host initially approved a certain mileage allotment, but after I decided to end the trip a day early, that allowance was suddenly cut in half. As a result, I was charged more than what an additional rental day would have cost.
The experience felt deceptive and punitive. What started with great communication quickly turned into a situation where the original expectations no longer applied. This is exactly the kind of experience that makes me reluctant to use Turo. If you're considering renting from this host, make sure you understand every detail they say the fine print is there but it’s not. BTW I didn’t go over my allotted mileage which makes it ludicrous.

We’re sorry Leonardo was dissatisfied, but we want to clarify the facts. He booked 4 days with 800 miles included, then changed the trip to 2 days, reducing the allowance to 400 miles. The vehicle was driven 844 miles. His claim that he did not exceed the mileage is incorrect. He also threatened to leave a bad review before doing so because he disputed the mileage charge. The reservation, mileage allowance, and applicable charges were clearly documented through Turo.
Amazing host, the car was great and helped us enjoy our trip. The host was very quick to reply as well as punctual, hope to rent again
