Asterisk: not the car I originally reserved, bit of a bummer, but the host comped this better one last minute for no extra.
It's a great rental car! Gigahatchback shape makes it fun to drive like a hatch but it has so much more space, and it's pretty engaging as a hybrid (I got 50 mpg). Not fancy, but quiet, comfy interior, good sound, calm on the highway too. Ford's an idiot for discontinuing these.
