After visiting 31 countries in the last 25 years and owning 71 cars, I have never had such a disappointing experience. The car shouldn't even be on the road. I called the next day to ask for a replacement; initially, I was told, "I'll try to get you another one," but that never happened. Rust everywhere, a missing wheel cap, and an engine noise that made the car sound like it was about to die. The host got mad at me for using his personal phone line, then apologized, realizing I could come back and rent again. I WOULD NEVER rent another car from him. RUDE, unprofessional.
