Pickup was easy. When I arrived, the windshield was cracked. I messaged the host before leaving the parking lot, with no response. When I arrived at my destination, I got a low tire pressure warning. I again messaged the host to ask if I there was a problem with the tire or if it was perhaps the monitoring system. Again no response. I put air in the tire, but the problem continued, so I had the left rear tire repaired. The key fob battery was also dead, so I had to replace the battery. The only communication I received from the host was an invoice after the trip ended for gas. I filled the tank with premium before the tire repair and left the fuel receipt in the car. As a single woman solo traveler, having a bad tire and failing key fob easily could have left me stranded. I always use Turo and this is the first time that a car has had problems and the first time that the host was not responsive. I don’t like having to write a bad review, however I cannot recommend this car or host.

Several statements in this review are inaccurate. We did respond to your messages, and you never provided photos or documentation regarding the tire or key fob issues. The vehicle was checked and was fine at check-in. You returned the vehicle late, And the negative review was posted only after we submitted the fuel reimbursement invoice, which you specifically mention in the review. We believe this review was retaliatory and does not fairly reflect the trip. We will not host this guest again.

the vehicle registration was expired

This guest returned our vehicle in terrible condition. The new registration was in the glove compartment—it was our mistake not to place it on the windshield. That said, based on the overall condition in which the vehicle was returned, we would not rent to this guest again.
