Car should not be on the road check engine light came on drive horrible shaking having difficulty starting

The car isn’t up to part for it to be rented on Turo. The car has been in an accident. The car also doesn’t drive smoothly. The check engine light was also on.

I understand your frustration, but someone who doesn't even know how to release the handbrake so the car can move shouldn't have a driver's license. I shared my car—a $20-a-day rental that is in great condition and has had no complaints from other renters; perhaps this one just wasn't to your liking. Next time, rent a supercar—I have one available if you want it.
Also, regarding the "Check Engine SOON" light—you wouldn't know what that means either.
