Mary was great, and her communication was clear. I just wasn’t very impressed with the condition of the car:
- Whenever I started the engine and put the car in drive, it would lurch and sputter like it was going to die until I accelerated over 10 miles an hour.
- It smelled VERY strongly of car freshener. So much so that I would not recommend renting this car if you have an aversion to strong smells.
- The car was 1,000 miles overdue for getting an oil change.
- There were crumbs leftover from the previous renter.

Sorry for your disappointment. The car is less than perfect but I maintain it well.
What a great ride and wonderful cold air conditioning during the trip with my family. I've rented from Mary Kay in the past and continuing to get good rides. Will be renting from her again.
