Everything vehicle wise was good. The host is very sweet. Unfortunately pick up was very uneasy I had people asking me for money and cigarettes. If you ain’t from Birmingham and don’t know the area. Then you don’t know you are picking up and dropping off in a questionable area. On a positive note the host is very kind and vehicle ran good. Was clean didn’t have any bad odors . I have rented over 100 vehicles from the Turo app in the past 2 years. I have never had a pick up or drop off in possibly unsafe location till now . The host told me since I changed my time it gets busy after dark. I said I pick up all over at different times including night and it shouldn’t matter if it’s after dark. All the rents need to feel safe. She does have a business and says she has cameras but they ain’t gonna stop a crime from happening. I don’t want to give the host a bad review over this cause like I previously stated she was super kind. Just not the best of location and I would not recommend picking up or dropping off after dark.
