Issac is a great client, he followed the guidelines for pickup and drop off making both of our experiences great, would definitely recommend him to all other turo host and also will be renting to him again when he’s in town.

The car was perfect for tall family of four. It was clean and trunk had plenty of space for our luggage. Pick up was easy and so was drop off. Would recommend.

The car itself was very comfortable to drive, fuel-efficient, and came with Apple CarPlay, A/C, and helpful safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and a backup camera. Driving felt safe and smooth throughout the trip.
The pickup process was confusing. I had communicated that I would be landing at the airport and expected to handle the pickup myself, but the owner showed up. He asked if I could drop him off at the location where his car was parked. While I agreed, I felt on edge the whole time since I wasn’t sure what would have happened if I said no. The crowded airport lot also made it difficult to take proper photos of the car for documentation.
During pickup, the owner explained existing damages and took pictures, but it felt like it was based solely on his word. He also asked me to take a selfie with my license using his personal phone. I was uncomfortable because Turo handles verification, and I wasn’t sure how my information would be used. When I expressed this, he said it didn’t matter and that he had done it with other users before without problems, which felt like a red flag.
There was a lingering smell of weed in the car, which is against the no-smoking rule and could be uncomfortable for families.
The listing mentioned a toll pass under convenience, but at the end of the trip I was charged $19. I had also used a quarter of a tank of gas, and before paying, I explained this to the owner and asked if $40 total to cover the tolls and gas would be acceptable. He agreed to accept it, but he was clearly upset that I did not refill the tank, and I felt he did not acknowledge the parts of the trip that I was trying to manage for convenience.
Other rules of the road, such as keeping the car tidy and avoiding off-roading, were followed. The overall driving experience was good, and the car handled well.
Overall, the car is nice to drive and well-equipped, but the rental experience included several unexpected challenges that made it less smooth than usual.
