The best you can get on Turo at this price point. This era of Toyota is my personal favorite for daily driving, and even this very base model, the last year of the Gen 3 Prius, is great. Actual tactile buttons for radio, dash & AC control?? Yes please! Plus the host was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and has a few options for pickup and drop off which is super convenient. I made my reservation over a month in advance and it was fulfilled as promised.

Lots of info ahead but these were questions I was looking for before my rental so hopefully this helps you choose:

Road noise is relatively low, it handles great for a stock commuter car. I wouldn't take corners in this the way I do my MR2 but this is not a mid engine sports car so you can't treat it like one 😂

Ofc gas mileage is unbeatable. I averaged about 45 mpg with the AC blasting nearly non-stop. I'm confident I could get 55+ mpg if it wasn't the peak of summer heat.

Suspension was perfect, which is a big deal on long trips. No pulling or unpredictable behavior.

Breaks were extremely reliable as well. I had to come to a sudden stop from 40mph, when the vehicle in front of me had to slam on their breaks for an errant deer. Zero issue stopping instantly, no squeal, not even a close call with the car in front. If you've rented Turo cars before at any price point, you know how this can be a real problem. Grateful everyone was safe, even the deer! :)

Car also comes with a spare tire (rare these days) and jack if needed.

Cargo space was slightly lower than my Yaris since the 2nd row doesn't fold completely flat. It's also a solid 2nd row not a 40/60 split so keep that in mind if you have a back seat rider and were thinking about folding only half the row down for some reason. It still accommodated a tool box, luggage, two coolers, and a cargo organizer with room to spare without blocking any windows.

5 cup holders (4 front, 1 in middle for rear or front access) and lots of little cubbies to stash random odds & ends you need for a drive. Vents allow for many different phone mount configurations.

It does have white cloth seats so I just threw some cheap seat covers I had on hand over the front ones, and threw a towel over the back bench, just to avoid any mishaps.

The only drawback is the lack of cruise control, but it was easy enough to maintain speed as the gas pedal isn't too stiff nor loose. This is just how the Prius C One comes from the manufacturer and NOT a reflection of the host.

Overall, an excellent deal, safe ride, and easy pickup/drop off. You can't beat it.

As advertised. Great

Great on gas mileage. Definitely great for city driving. Highway, not so much. Kinda slow on acceleration, but it is a hybrid. I would definitely rent again

Car was fuel efficient and a promised. Owners were great communicators.
