The car had a part hanging from it when I received it and I contacted the host and his response was sorry the part didn’t come in time so I returned the vehicle back the same day

For context: a non‑safety part was pending (a known item), not a safety issue. The vehicle was inspected, fully operable, and driven extensively during the trip with no mechanical issues during or after. The trip ended early by the guest after the mileage allowance had been exceeded by 213 miles. The car has continued in service without issue and has since been resolved.
