Second time renting from this place “Rias”. If you see an available car rental through this company, avoid it like the plague. On the first rental before I could even make it out of the parking lot the brakes started to squeal and squeak really loudly.The brake pedal went just about to the floor to make the car stop. Immediately called the owner to notify him that the brakes were bad and that the car was unsafe. His quote to me was “keep driving eventually the squeaking will go away.”. Like an idiot I did so and for the next 24 hours during the rental that was a question in my mind as to rather or not the car would stop if something was to happen suddenly. The Second rental that I got was worse. When I got into the car there were five freshly opened air fresheners hanging from the rearview mirror. The strong fragrant sent was too overwhelming so I took the air fresheners down. Put them in glove box 2 minutes later that distinct smell of pet urine started to exude from the carpets and the seats, unbearable. Immediately called the owner and he said I quote “I knew it was a little stinky, but I cleaned the car myself. It shouldn’t be that bad”. These are run-of-the-mill used car dealers who are buying raggedy cars from the auction and posting them on Turo and putting us in unsafe, unclean vehicles just to make a dollar. Turo should be ashamed and these used car scammers should also be ashamed. Avoid this company at all cost. God bless.
