I did reach out to the host directly about my concerns and wanted to leave an honest review. Upon picking up the car, I noticed immediately that it looks nicer in the photos especially on the exterior. The inside of the car was pretty dirty and this wasn’t a last minute booking either so there should have been time to wipe out and vacuum the car as well. The seats could also use a good shampoo, they’re pretty dirty. The exterior of the Corolla has a lot of dents and dings and scratches. I also let the host know within 30 minutes of picking up the car that the brakes were extremely noisy and needed to be checked out. Communication from the host was fine but i definitely feel like the overall maintenance of this car needs to addressed. Again I did bring all of this up to the host and it was basically like “ok, thanks for letting me know”’ instead of offering any sort of small compensation for the troubles.
