This trip started off with the host texting me in the morning telling me that the car would actually not be available until a half hour after my pickup time (pickup scheduled for 11, was told wouldn't be ready until 1130). Inconvenient but I rearranged my ride so that I would be there at 1130, the time he had said that it would be available. Then, as I was on my way to pick it up, I got a message from him saying that it wouldn't be late after all and then asking if I was there at 1108. No, I had rearranged my ride to get there later because he said it wouldn't be available! Very confusing. During the pickup the host hovered the whole time and was very brusque, borderline rude. When telling me the rules he sounded like he was accusing me of doing things against his rules before I'd even taken the car. The pickup was also inside a gated community but he hadn't put the gate code so I just had to sit there in my Uber waiting for him to reply with the code for me to get in. Very inconvenient and a very uncomfortable pickup. I did not feel safe doing the return by myself so I made sure to bring someone with me because I did not want to be alone.

The car itself was fine. Got really good gas mileage and was clean. Host provided cell phone mounts which made it convenient to use Google Maps to navigate my way.
