I gave 4 stars for the car’s quality. The host was great and seemed very nice. Picking up and dropping off the car was quick and easy.
The car itself…
I use Turo for both business and leisure. For leisure trips, it’s great on gas—it only took about $30 to fill up. It’s also on the smaller side, which makes parking in tight spaces easy. It gets you from Point A to Point B without any issues.
For business, though, if I needed to drive to New Hampshire or Maine, this isn’t a car I would choose. The check engine light is on. Also, based on the way it drives, it just doesn’t feel like the most reliable vehicle for longer trips.

I’d just like to clarify that the vehicle did not have a check engine light before your trip, during your trip or when it was returned. The only warning light present was the tire pressure light. The host is extremely responsive. The car was very clean and got excellent fuel mileage. The car had a small issue with noise in the brakes. The host responded immediately and we took it over and he fixed it. The brakes had just been done but the company that did it didn't completely tighten the rotor. He fixed it on the spot and told us to return the car with an empty tank of gas. There was no other issue with the car while we had it for 2 weeks.
