Car had some pet hair but overall everything was great

I did not have a good experience with this reservation. To begin, the host informed me that a full charge would approximately get to 225-230 miles with this vehicle. This was incorrect. A full charge only got me to approximately 174miles which drastically affected my trip in which I informed the host of during booking. I had to stop more than expected to charge the vehicle. This drastically changed the expected time I would get to my destination. I opted for the vehicle to be delivered to my house. On the day of drop off, the car was parked three houses down from me which didn’t make any sense as my driveway was clear with no car or objects blocking the area. The host was also late dropping the car off AND also forgot to leave the key. Yes, with Teslas you can most certainly turn your phone into a key by utilizing the Tesla app, but this was another inconvenience for me. I own a Tesla myself and was forced to log out of my app and sign in as the host (she provided her log in information) so that I can unlock the car and drive it. This Was not ideal as I wanted to be able to monitor my own car while I was away on my trip. This circumstance prevented me from being able to do so.
When the car was dropped off, it was not clean whatsoever and smelled like marijuana. I had to clean the car myself just to feel comfortable driving before I left for my trip. There Was also significant damage to the car such as a huge crack in the roof that the host neglected to take
pictures of. Once I finally got to my destination, the tire pressure sign came on indicating that the car’s tire pressure was not checked prior to drop off. Lastly, the car was scheduled to be picked up from my home at 8:30pm on the last day of my trip. I finished checking out via the app at 8:11pm. The host come to pick the car, nor would she answer Messages or calls from myself or the Turo representatives, until 9:41pm. This was another inconvenience as I could not leave my house until the car was picked up as it was
in my driveway.
All in all, this a terrible experience. The host did not give out correct information, ensure that the car was prepped for renting, was not the best at being responsive and was not good at time
management. I would not recommend.

This Tesla was awesome an great experience overall. With gas prices as high as they’ve been, driving electric for a few days was a nice break from watching the pump total climb every time I filled up. The car was clean, fully charged at pickup, and drove smoothly the whole trip. Charging was easy to plan around, and I ended up saving a good chunk of money compared to what I’d have spent on gas in a comparable rental. The host communicated clearly and made pickup/drop-off simple. Would definitely rent this one again — a great option if you want to try out an EV or just want to dodge gas prices for a bit.

Great host! Flexible pickup and drop off. 1st time renting an electric car and I’m hooked. Detailed directions on pickup gave me everything I needed to know.

Really wanted to give more stars. Ari was responsive and pleasant. Car was beautiful and ran well. Pick up and drop off of car was rough, Aris co driver was unprofessional and last minute change on their end at dropoff had me scrambling in a strange airport to find a parking garage while trying to make a flight. Really threw a wrench in our travels. I would recommend arranging for pickup elsewhere if you dont want the headache.
