Was supposed to deliver the car to my hotel at 9 am but didn’t show up. No reply to calls or texts. After spending 35 minutes on hold with Turo, whose only solution was to refund me, I booked an Uber so we wouldn’t miss our 10:00 reservation. Host finally texted me at 9:45 that she had overslept and offered to still bring me the car. As Turo offered me no other reasonable solution, I accepted and host delivered the car to the museum that I had to pay $40 to Uber to. Car itself was fine. But very frustrating to be stranded without the vehicle you paid for.

I sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience. I take responsibility for oversleeping. I do want to clarify that I responded at 9:33 not 9:45. I immediately apologized and, despite the tone of your interaction with me, I personally offered my time and vehicle as a resolution when Turo’s only option was to refund the trip. I understand the inconvenience, but I feel the one star rating does not reflect the effort I made to resolve the situation or the fact that I still followed through.
We had a few changes to the trip due to schedule availability between the host and I, but everything went as smoothly as it could have, although I had to initiate the drop off due to the host being unavailable. She was very polite throughout the process and that’s why I’m giving the trip 5 stars. Thank you!
