Host was cool car needs some work.

The car had no current tag displayed and 2 warning lights came on and 1 went out at pickup I immediately contacted host and was assured of no concern he was monitoring the vehicle the car has brake issues causing them to freeze up my family and I are highly disappointed in the safety issues we experienced with this host as my driving ability was questioned I’m still getting over the unsafe unregistered vehicle I got I’m tired now I’ll be getting back to you very soon
Physical registration was in transit from the DDS. We sent matching information regarding that. The “warning” light was completely normal for cars with no coolant meter. The other light was for the TPMS, which is related to the cold weather. The brakes work. The rotors and pads were replaced within the past 6 months. We found that something entered the wheel well which caused the incident you experienced.
Fair review?

This was my first time renting from Turo and I didn’t have a great experience. This car was clearly in an accident and the right side was scraped up as well as the exterior mirror panel is off. Also, the brakes are bad. I only drove it one exit to work, and when it rained I didn’t drive it due to the bad brakes I parked it and got another vehicle. I made the owner aware and all he could say was I told you that it had cosmetic damages. I will never rent from Chance again!

We make it known about the minor damage to one side of the vehicle before pickup via automated message. AND the photos ARE in the listing.
Respectfully, we cannot force you to read.
Secondly, you still drove the vehicle after you allegedly got another. Mind you, all vehicles Turo vehicles are GPS tracked.
Lastly, the brake issue developed the issue during the trip. We try to fix these issues as soon as we are aware of them! Rotors and pads on all corners were replaced.
