The car ran and drove, with some concerning noises and leaked fluid in my driveway. The exterior of the car was clean, however the interior had muddy floorboards and smelled musty like old smoke. The host was creepy and offered multiple outside services, including offering to stay at his place and provide rides from his personal vehicle. The car was parked just beside a no parking sign for the buisness next door, making pickup a conflict between my ride, the workers, myself, and the renter. Altogether the entire experience was not good and left me feeling uncomfortable. I appreciate Turo's availability, however I feel that their partnership with this host should be reviewed.
This is a vindictive retaliatory review that is entirely false. Her ride to pick-up the car parked in a "no parking" zone in the neighboring business that was clearly marked. An employee came out and told them to move but they refused after being told by me and the employee. Her review alludes to this. Apparently she decided to relatiate by writing this nasty review.
