Good car we had enough space and enjoyed driving it. Pretty good on gas. Will use again when we return in December

The car itself ran well and had no issues. Good value for the price. The owner contacted me 15 minutes before my reservation and told me the previous renter had not yet returned the car so they asked if I would mind having another car of equal level. I had no problem with that and the substitute was a good match, but it was filthy outside and there was some trash left behind inside. They sent me a message on my last day offering me a free car wash if I wanted to wash it before I returned “to avoid any cleaning fees.” I felt this was a bit weird considering how dirty it was when it was given to me and how the offer of a free wash was never sent until I was already done using the car. The expectation that I’d take it to get cleaned before I returned it to avoid paying a fee is a bit ironic and ridiculous given the state the car was in when I got it. But functionally, I had no issues with my rental.

Next time, we’ll simply cancel rather than go out of our way to provide a last-minute replacement. As you acknowledged, your original vehicle wasn’t returned, leaving us little time to accommodate you, which unfortunately affected our normal cleaning standard. The free wash message is automated and simply informs guests of a complimentary service we offer—it was never a demand that you clean the car. Our many other reviews speak for the standard we consistently provide.
