I had a number of issues with this booking:
1. I felt like the host was not responsive once we picked up the car. We had questions about how to connect the Bluetooth (which he never responded to) and where to drop off the car which felt like pulling teeth to get a response. Note that in the beginning, everything seemed fine.
2. When we picked up the car it was dirty. There was a sticky substance on the drivers side.
3. Safety concerns: the backup camera does not work (looks like the owner replaced the dashboard screen with something else, but the camera is just black). The brakes were also super squeaky and sounded like they needed to be checked.
4. Bluetooth will not work and the same 3 songs will play on repeat every time you put the car in drive.
5. The host, and this is my assumption, does not clean or check the car between guests. We found a pair of sunglasses left in the door of the car and when we went to pay the fee for the parked car (which was not disclosed till the day of my booking which seems wrong) we noted that the car had been sitting there for over 24 hours. Why would you drop off the car for a reservation a day in advance? Note that my airport fee was $18.
Overall the car worked, but I felt like the description and reviews on here were misleading. This was my first time booking on Turo and not what I expected.

The car was listed with a backup camera but the backup camera didn’t work. I asked the host and he said he updated the car and the backup camera stopped working but didn’t inform me before the trip or updated the listing details. The right blinker was also burnt out when I picked up the car and the host didn’t check the car beforehand. The center display console was also in a different language so I couldn’t use CarPlay or any features in the car. Had to contact the host and customer service back and forth to see how to get problem resolved.
