The car was clean, which is to be expected when renting from Turo. However, I do wish that the host was accommodating to my request to return the car early as a rental had become available to me due to my car being totaled. I do understand that people hosting on Turo are creating an income stream for themselves, it just sucks that the humanity aspect gets lost at times.

Hi Alicia. Booking a vehicle removes it from the marketplace exclusively for your dates. Because the car was committed to your trip and unavailable to other guests, I am unable to absorb the cost of a last-minute early return. Holding hosts accountable for the financial impacts of your personal schedule changes is unfair.
Steve was great. He stayed in communication with me right through the rental. Car was clean, smells great and drove smoothly. Above all very good on fuel. Will do business with Steve again.
