British luxury on the move
Land Rover may have started with a small suite of rugged and practical utility vehicles but is now behind one of the world’s most luxurious and coveted brands — Range Rover.
Diehard fans (of which there are many) might argue that Land Rover — the brand’s mothership — hasn’t betrayed its roots thanks to the highly-capable Land Rover Defender. These days, this reimagined original is just as likely spotted in UK cities as on more adventurous sojourns and has become a sought-after Land Rover option to rent for part-time explorers.
When you choose a Range Rover, you’re already selecting the best among its rivals. Even within a deluxe offering of Range Rover models, you can layer on evermore fanciness. Splashing out? Look for ultra-exclusive Autobiography and SV iterations that bring a heightened level of bespoke craftsmanship to the interiors.
Back in the 1940s, Land Rover was Britain’s response to the American-built Jeep. With the dawn of Range Rover in the 1970s, this British brand took a turn into luxury and hasn’t looked back, cementing the Range Rover marque into one of the UK’s best-loved brands that’s revered around the world.
Sure, Land Rovers are undeniably luxe and appeal to drivers looking for superior quality and style. Beneath the sumptuous finishes, impressive tech, and fancy embellishments, these are seriously serious vehicles with extraordinary capabilities, born from a brand rooted in adventure. Rent a Land Rover on Turo to find out for yourself.
Range Rover rental on Turo is always popular, thanks to the desirability of experiencing a Land Rover powertrain and the wow factor of the interior. There’s a great selection of Land Rover and Range Rover models on Turo in locations across the UK. Decide whether the practical, family-friendly Land Rover Discovery is your vibe, whether the elegance of a Range Rover Velar, or if the swankiest Range Rover Sport best matches your style.
When the Range Rover Evoque debuted in 2010, it set hearts aflutter. After all, what wasn’t to love about a vehicle with all the brand appeal that Range Rover has worked so hard for in a city-friendly compact SUV? In the time since, the Evoque’s popularity hasn’t waned, remaining a Turo favourite for drivers across the UK.
The Range Rover Sport cuts an imposing profile. As the Range Rover’s sassier younger sibling, it commands a loyal following from drivers who like a side of swagger in an otherwise capacious and comfortable car. The in-cabin finery is matched with an exciting on-the-road performance, whether on UK motorways or negotiating rural B-roads.
Premium good looks aren’t reserved solely for Range Rover — the Land Rover Discovery hardly scrimps on luxury, but it has a slightly more modest and outdoorsy appeal. Built for adventuring families, its boxy aesthetic is a well-considered move, making it a roomy road trip option with oversized windows and ample legroom and headroom.
