I went to pick up the car and it was not in safe or usable condition. I had to return it immediately.
As a mechanic, here are the issues I found:
• Steering wheel misaligned and the car pulls to the left
• Handbrake not working
• Worn-out windshield wipers, poor visibility
• Left CV joint clicking when turning
• Left license plate light burned out
• The next oil change would be exceeded during the one-month rental period
This vehicle should not be rented until these safety issues are fixed.

Thank you for the feedback, Marcus. The concerns listed were not present in the pre-trip photos or during the drive to the pickup location, and no warning lights were on with the engine running. The handbrake was fully functional once lowered from the locked position. The vehicle was later inspected by a licensed mechanic, with documentation submitted to Turo. Given the car was with you only briefly at night, we followed up to ensure everything was fully verified.
