James' car registration was 2 months expired and I found this out when I was pulled over during my rental. When I contacted James he didn't respond. I returned the car early and reached out to Turo. I was upset with Turo as well because they should be monitoring these kinds of things and shouldn't allow someone to rent out their car with expired registration. Turo asked James to give me a refund and he refused. Luckily Turo gave me a credit for the inconvenience, but it didn't fully cover the rental. I wouldn't recommend renting from James. His car was great but he needs to pay his registration!

There was a slight mix up but James made sure to straighten things out and was very communicative. I enjoyed driving his vehicle and would likely rent again!
